We have four webinars for advisers available this autumn term. These include: Gold Arts Award, How music changes young lives and minds, and Delivering an accessible Arts Award.
Upcoming dates:
There’s so much evidence that music changes schools and has a major impact on education and wellbeing. Any doubts? Our guests will convince you otherwise. This webinar is aimed at primary and secondary school music teachers and anyone interested in the benefits of music education.
We will discuss the effect of music and child development in primary schools, how cuts to the arts affect the wellbeing of children, the empowering impact of music on young people’s mental health, and how Arts Award can play a supporting role in the wider positive impact of music in schools. Sign up here.
This webinar discusses how to deliver an accessible Arts Award. We’ll explore ways to make Arts Award accessible to, and inclusive of, the range of young people you work with.
We will cover: choosing the appropriate level for young people you work with; resources designed to support your delivery; different ways of collecting and presenting evidence; examples of how other centres have delivered Arts Award; a chance to refresh your knowledge and talk through any challenges you may be facing. Sign up here.
