Welcome to the beginning of your Arts Award journey.

If you're considering getting started with Arts Award, these resources for teachers, schools and parents will give you a helping hand.

Are you looking to reward students’ creative efforts with a recognised national qualification?

Arts Award is a unique set of qualifications, with valuable UCAS points attached to the highest level.  Flexible and accessible, Arts Award develops students as artists and arts leaders.

To help you explore Arts Award and convey the benefits to others, we have developed four new free-to-access resources for teachers, senior leaders and families.

Align Arts Award with your current arts provision

Your school is likely to already be offering students many of the activities needed for Arts Award, so why not support them to get a recognised qualification through the things you’re already doing?

We’ve created a range of new resources to support you with getting the school community on board:

•    Bronze and Silver Arts Award mapping resources – so you can see how your current arts provision aligns with the qualification frameworks.

•    Arts Award and your school – a guide for you to share with colleagues, the senior leadership team and governors to inform them of the many benefits of running Arts Award in your setting.

•    Arts Award and your young person – created exclusively for parents and carers, this guide will help explain the benefits of Arts Award to learning, personal development and life beyond education.
