Get going with Gold

Good news. You no longer need to train at Bronze and Silver level before training to deliver Gold Arts Award. From September 2018 you can train to deliver Gold – a Level 3 qualification with UCAS points attached – regardless of whether you have already trained as an adviser. Gold Arts Award training is a half-day course designed for organisations working with young people aged 16 and above.

SUPPORT & RESOURCES
Support & Resources

It’s OK to use unknown artists

At various levels of Arts Award, young people explore artists’ work and research their careers. When we talk about 'artists', we include crafts people, makers and everyone else who creates work in the arts. Importantly, for Arts Award research, you don't even need to know the name of the artist! Learn more.

New – Arts Award webinars

This year, we are beginning to offer support webinars for Arts Award advisers and centres. Take a look at what’s coming up, register for a session, then either attend live or watch the recording at a time to suit you. If you prefer face-to-face support, you can attend one of our support surgeries. Learn more.

Adviser assessment report forms

In preparation for moderation, we’re reminding advisers to ensure adviser assessment report forms are completed for each young person entered for Arts Award moderation. These forms are available to download on the Adviser Hub. Not sure what to do? Use the step-by-step guide to help you or view a completed example of a Bronze or Explore form.
